The semi-dry start wasn’t bad, at all. Ugghhhh. Going into this race I had a goal of finishing under 3:30. Little did I know it was going to be one of the most miserable races of my life. The first 10 miles were fine. It was kind of drizzling and a pleasant temperature. But then … Continue reading Soggy Marathon→
May is pretty cool for several reasons. My mom and my brother both have May birthdays. Piper has a birthday. I will be running my first marathon of 2009. Reagan will be running her first half marathon of 2009. Also, May is officially Bike Month in New York City. I’m not sure how many of … Continue reading Happy May→
Last night was about as perfect as it can get, when it comes to skating weather. It was high 70’s, breezy and not very much humidity. I skated down Riverside Drive to 96th Street and met up with my friend Bryan Swiss. We rode Central Park Drive from there up around the north end and … Continue reading 1st skate sesson o’ 2009→
The weather has been pretty mild, but patchy lately. We were pretty excited last week, when it broke 70 degrees. We went on a bike ride and everything. The shot above is of Reagan and her bike, Marsha (short for Marshmallow) last week. Well, I’m not sure if I’m ready for the weather that appears … Continue reading Summer arrives in NYC this weekend→
I was on the UES today during lunch and I happened to see these dogs. I’m pretty sure that if they ganged up, they could overpower that dude. Just sayin’.
On Saturday, after it finally stopped raining, I had a chance to get out and snap a few more photos with the new cam. Reagan was doing hair all day, so I took a little walk up the street to Ft. Tryon Park. The rest of the photos are lumped in this album. There is … Continue reading More Spring Photos→
I was dying, when I saw this picture on Gothamist. It appears that someone is voicing their displeasure with NY politics, by spoofing on the “Keep it Going NYC,” Campaign. Who ever you are, nice work! Hahahaha.
During my stint in midtown this week, Although working my fingers to the bone, I was able to get a couple of kind of cool pictures. During one of our all nighters, I snapped the pic above, at sunrise. The one directly below was also taken at sunrise, facing East, down 42nd St. If you … Continue reading Week in Midtown→
I am working remotely today from another firm’s office in the Conde Naste building. It is pretty quiet on this floor, and we have a great view. So it is a little bit of consolation.
When I got on the train this morning, the sun was out, and it looked like it was going to be a beautiful day. When I came above ground, in the financial district, it was snowing sideways. Go figure.
