I got home from work at a reasonable hour last night, and decided to try to keep going with the faux-training for the LI half Marathon. I started around 7 just working my way from my house, down Ft. Washington, to riverside, then back over to B-way so that I could catch the Riverside Park path at 125th. I took that all the way down to 14th and I have to admit, I was kind of tired at that point, but I figured I would see how far back I could go, just for kicks. I ended up going all the way back to 125th. When I mapped it out last night, it ended up being a bit longer than a half marathon, and I felt fine afterwards (except for a little bit of weird back pain). I think that I must be out of alignment or something. It also could have been the way that I had my keys and metrocard pinned into my shorts, I noticed that I was moving my right arm a bit different to keep it from accidentally brushing my keys and card. Ok, I’m not really sure at this point how I could have made my story from last night, any more boring. So, sorry about that. The exciting ending is that I got home, ordered and ate an entire pizza, and got a massage from Reagan :).

So when is the Marathon, and are you going to run the whole thing or a half?
It is next weekend. I’m going doing the half. I think that Reagan and I are going to try to run the Hartford Marathon in the fall.
