I love it when you spaz out all alone.

This is a video that Reagan and I made for her family reunion in TN. The idea was Reagan’s. Pardon my terrible camera work. Video is definitely much more challenging for me than still photography. The bonus footage at the end, is an outtake from on of her hair videos.

  1. Michelle

Does she give dance lessons?! love it!

  2. This is just fantastic! Everything about it is fantastic and I love it!

  3. Just as I suspected.. We dance the same.

Also, I dont like you guys standing so close to the moving subway train. I think there could be some sort of a suction effect that could pull you down and kill you. Okay? Tell Reagan.

  4. Genius. Especially the bonus eye-rolling and sighing. And how stoked was the guitar guy when Reag sashayed up to him and danced, danced, danced!

  5. Ahh, I love Reagan! This makes me laugh and want to send it to everyone I know and then do a little dance about it.

  6. best dance video ever made.

  7. I thought for sure she was going to dance right into the path of the train too!! Now that would have been a video!
    SCARY!!
I wanted to see her dancing like that with Pip watching. She would have thought her mama had lost her mind 🙂

  8. Your wife is Awesome. Totally.

  9. you. have. the. cutest. wife. E V E R! i think guitar guy was my favorite part – i’m confident he was delighted!

  10. Dude, that might be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Scott said that’s how she danced at prom and he was scared!

  11. Did you fall in love with her all over again when she was dancing like that?! Man she is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! I love that she dances anywhere and doesn’t care, so inspiring!

  12. Haha. My favorite parts were when Reagan ran out with pizza, and then when she jumped out behind the trees. LOVED it. Also, the bonus eye rolling and sighing was classic.

  13. Great job, Reag! It reminded me of two things: my six-year-old dancing and “Where the Hell is Matt” dancing (if only she could have gotten a few people as back-up dancers). Very nice.

  14. The video is good stuff. A couple pointers on how to become pro at video as well as still photography.
#1 never use the zoom if you don’t have too. it is always better to stay on the same zoom setting and actually physically move towards or away from the object if you do not have an uber-professional camera like the ones they use a football games.
#2 if you are moving the camera, like to pan and catch a couple of joggers or dancer-looker-atters, move the camera at a pace that feels way too slow. if you feel like you need to pan faster, you are going the right speed. there is no peripheral vision on a camera lens. it is kind of like looking through a scope or binoculars, you typically have to move them really slow to keep the picture in focus. it is a hard thing to do when looking at an lcd screen on a camera or being able to see everything that is going on around you.
i hope you can utilize these unsolicited video camera tricks.

  15. @snotnose: Thanks, Pete. I would be happy if I could just become proficient at manually pulling focus. It’s tricky. I’m not super hung up on it, though. Shooting video isn’t something that I aspire to perfect. Just the same. Thanks for the suggestions!

  16. Terrahhhhh

That was super funny!! You are goofballs

  17. THAT. WAS. ABSOLUTELY. AMAZING. I laughed the entire time and LOST IT when Reagan was in your living room.
Oh my dear lord. I might have to do this.
(p.s. go to my videos on FB, hit “The 2am Journey” or “Updated Summer 2010” and you’ll see why I think Reagan and I might be twins.

  18. oh reagy, reagy, reagy! i love all those arms & legs wobbling and wiggling all over NY. she sorta dances like gilly! haha.

  19. Thank you! That was outstandingly entertaining. We need to go dancing together some time. I love dancing around people that can MOVE.

  20. With moves like that, why wouldn’t she dance everywhere? Awesome Reagan.

  21. oh my perfect beginning to a wednesday.
