News and Kind of Olds

by

January was pretty eventful aside from the Piper episodes mentioned below. We took a trip to Boston with our friends Doug and Tamara. I still haven’t posted the pictures from that on here. Tamara has posted a bunch though, if you want to check them out. We stayed with our homies the Truscotts. It was a really fun time. They have recently purchased a Nintendo Wii. Reagan and I had been exposed to this device once before while dining with our friends the Stringhams and I must say, we are pretty big fans of it. So we spent the majority of the time just hanging out and playing bowling, boxing and guitar hero. Before we left, we did a quick tour of the USS Constitution museum. The museum was cool, but we should have toured the actual ship first, because when we came out of the museum, they had just barely closed the ship. I guess that you can’t win them all.
Reagan and I celebrated our first aniversary in style at 30,000 feet. One of her friends from high school was married on February 2nd. So we were on our way to that event for practically the entire day. Sorry Reag. Anyway we flew into SLC and spent the night at my parents’ house. We borrowed my mom’s car the next morning and drove to Cedar City to stay with Reagan’s parents. Reagan’s brother Nate and his wife Melanie joined us for the drive down. It was cool to be able to get to know them a little better. Friday night, all of us went bowling with Reagan’s parents and her younger brother Jesse. It was a really good time. We drove to St. George early the next morning so that Reagan could do everyone’s hair. I dropped her off at the hotel and just hung out/shopped/relaxed around town. The wedding was nice. We also went to the luncheon and the reception. It was cool to be able to meet so many of Reagan’s friends that I had heard about, but never had the chance to hang out with. We drove back to SLC the following morning and spent the rest of the day chilling with my family. We barbequed and had cake for Reagan’s birthday, which we once again celebrated at 30,000 feet.
