On gross rainy days like today, I really have to dig deep to get myself motivated. I was looking at the calendar and I realized, only two weeks until we will be on the beach in PR. Hooray for that. I am ready for some warm weather. Another thing that came to mind is that our band had a really good session last night. I feel like it was the best one since we started playing again this year. Also we are going to try to do a gig soon, before Chris has to start studying for he bar in May. Maybe we can sneak in a couple of gigs. Anyway, that stuff is pretty fun. Plus, I have a hot wife who makes me laugh pretty much every day, either with her dancing, made up songs, or just by being extra cute. I will miss her tonight when she goes to spend the night with Piper, but I’m really glad that one of us can be there with her. There we go. All of that is enough to get me out of bed, even on a nasty day like today.
