Happy Monday

We were supposed to be in DC today and tomorrow, enjoying the company of our newly engaged friends, and the scent of cherry blossoms. Instead, I will be enjoying this beautiful weather from inside of the building I work in. Not quite the same. On a very positive note, when I visited Piper yesterday, she was standing up in her crib playing, when I arrived. She was in a great mood, and seemed to be back to her normal self. She was not stingy with the smiles or laughing. It really made me happy to see her in such good spirits. I was bummed to have to be awake so early this morning to move the car, since parking was so sparse when I got back from Westchester last night. But I was rewarded with a pretty gorgeous sunrise (above). Lets hope that the positivity can carry over into the rest of the week. 🙂
