Yesterday was the first ever, night race in Moto GP. It was a very exciting race. Pedrosa got off to an early start and finished 3rd. Rossi lead for a while, but seems like his bike is still grossly underpowered. Stoner made his way up to the front of the pack, about half way through the race and continued to post higher lap times until the checkered flag. There was over a 1 second gap between him and Lorenzo (who finished second). Rossi ended up 5th and Hayden 10th. I hope that this isn’t indicative of the way the rest of the season will go. Even though it is fun to watch Stoner race, it is a lot more fun when there is a legitimate battle for the title.
