High Energy Weekend

Last Friday, some of Reagan’s friends from her childhood flew in to visit us. I was able to skip out of work a little bit early so that I could go with Reagan to pick them up from the airport. It was pouring rain when Reagan arrived at Financial center with the car, to pick me up. She had failed to fill up the car. I guess that there was a little communication breakdown with that one. So we had to find a gas station in some industrial park in Brooklyn during rush hour. We ended up getting to the airport about an hour later than we were hoping too. That kind of set the tone for the rest of the chaotic and fun filled weekend. Imagine palling around all weekend with 3 Reagans, each of them contributing equally to the goal of keeping each other amped to full energy output at all times, hahahaha. Friday night we joined up with the Halls and had dinner at Limeleaf on 72nd. Afterward we went to the hospital and had a nice long visit with Piper. We all took turns holding her and playing with her. She was super cute, as usual.

Saturday, Reagan made breakfast for everyone, and we headed straight down to Soho for some shopping. The girls were not even phased by the incessant rain and gusting winds. They don’t mess around when it comes to shopping. Later that afternoon, we met up with Chris V. at Koronet to grab a slice of pizza and some Pinkberry. When we got home, everyone was a little bit tired from all of the activites of the day. Reagan did Deanna and Maggie’s hair, and there was talk of just staying in, because of the fatigue from a full day of activities. All it took was a phone call from their friend Patrick (also from TN) announcing that there was a Barbie and Ken themed party on the UES that night, to give everyone a second wind. It was pretty fun to be accompanying the 3 best dressed barbies to the party. We had a pretty good time there and met some new friends. After the party, we did a quick driving tour of the city and called it a night. Unfortunately, they had to leave early this afternoon, but it was definitely a barrel o’ laughs o’ minute, type of weekend.
