Summer arrived this weekend

.Apparently summer decided to show up yesterday. It was bloody hot outside, and today is just as hot, if not hotter. Unfortunately Reagan had to work yesterday, so she totally missed out on the sunshine. I, on the other hand, was able to take full advantage. I started off by getting Bebe washed. Thank goodness the kids decided to break open the hydrant a block up from where I parked her. I would have been pretty bummed to find he all covered with hydrant water when I was going to pick up Reag. Anyway, after the carwash, I ran the Riverside trail down to 14th and back. I took my time coming back. I even stopped to visit Reagan at work. When I got home, I cranked the a/c and took a huge nap before picking up Reagan from work and going out to dinner. We spent the rest of the evening with lil Piper. She has been extra playful and rowdy. She has also been sleeping a lot more. She is lucky to be in a building with central air. We are not so lucky. I hope that it doesn't stay miserably hot like this for much longer.
