Up again, Down again

Reagan got a call last night from one of the Nurses at Children’s Specialized, saying that Piper had been having some episodes. Apparently, whatever was going on rose to the level that her Dr. felt like she needed to send Piper back to Columbia. So she is coming back this morning. The most frustrating part is that we don’t really have any details about what caused the concern. Reagan has been on the phone all morning trying to figure out exactly what is going on. We probably wont know until she arrives at Columbia. I’m really glad that Reagan’s boss is flexible enough to allow for these kind of instances. Hopefully they are just sending her back as a prophylactic measure. We were both very surprised by the news, given her playful disposition and apparent stability on Sunday afternoon. I will make sure to post an update as soon as we get the low down.
