A week from this Saturday my youngest sister is getting married. Reagan and I are both really excited for her and her fiance Thomas. In addition to celebrating the marriage of Melinda, the majority of my immediate family will be all in one location, which doesn’t happen very often. As I’m sure it is with most large families, since my siblings and I have become adults and moved to all corners of the earth, it becomes extremely complicated to see each other on a regular basis. This is one of those occasions where most of us will all be there. I really look forward to these occasions becuase of the level of debachery that generally occurs in connection with the actual event. I’m gearing up right now for a good game of “make me laugh,” and maybe some street bowling. It is quite possible that Manti has never seen the likes of either of those sports. With a little luck, our long lost surrogate brother Ted Swenson will even rear his head for the event. Anyway, I’m sure that this post is making my mom nervous, so don’t worry ma, we won’t ruin the wedding. Also, I’m still crossing my fingers that Sarah and Jessie will stumble upon a time machine with a pot of gold next to it, so that they can close on their house in Alaska and still make it out to Zion in time for the event. So, I’m really excited to see my fam. As if being able to spend a long weekend out west with my family wasn’t enough, Reagan’s brother and his wife fly into NYC the day after we return. We had a really good time with them driving down to So. Utah from SLC for one of Reagan’s friend’s weddings earlier this year. They are going to be here for Piper’s 1 y.o. birthday. Fun times ahead, and this kid is excited.

I don’t get so nervous about your comments anymore cause I know you are kidding, right? Right Jake?
I taught one of my baristas about street bowling the other day. I think he going to do it for one of his prom date activities.
