I first came across Radiohead, in the era of their “The Bends” album. I wasn’t too hot on any of the singles that were being played on the radio. “Fake plastic trees” and “Creep” (from Pablo Honey) it seemed like, were every other song on certain stations, for a while. The more I learned about Radiohead, the less that I really liked them. First of all, Thom Yorke’s strange eye-thing kind of freaked me out a little. That is totally rude, and insensitive, I know. The second reason I wasn’t digging, was the previously mentioned overplayed singles. Theeennnnnn, I actually picked up a copy of the “The Bends.” Let me say that the song “Just” changed my life (that’s an exaggeration, but you know what I mean, right?). Even thought their sound has changed substantially, starting with the “Kid A” album. I remained a fan of their work. I delayed quite a while in picking up the “In Rainbows” Album. To be honest, Radiohead was a little bit off of the radar, for me, since they hadn’t produced anything in almost 5 years. Reagan’s brother and his wife came out to visit late last year and were talking up the album, which piqued my interest. The song that I’m sharing if from that album. It is called “Reckoner.” For those who haven’t already heard it: I’m warning you, if you hate post 90’s Radiohead, you will probably hate this song. I, on the other hand, love it. Take it for a spin.

I, for one, think this whole album is amazing. It’s definitely been my most played in the last year. Check out this stuff inspired by it:

@Mike: That video is awesome, hahahaha. I can’t wait to check out those covers, either. I love Deltron and Zion I. Thanks for the links!
