The weather was awesome today. I was able to spend some time on Governor’s Island, this morning shooting some promo stuff for a boot company.
It was my first time back to Governor’s Island since the Clicquot event. The setup was at picnic point, on the north end of the island, and the catering crew used these awesome little jars to serve the drinks.
Reagan and I brought our bikes to the island, once. It was totally crowded. This time was a lot different than the other times I was there. It was completely empty, and awesome.
I am feeling a lot better today. Thanks for all of the get well wishes, BTW (It is totally working). But, I decided not to push it, and skipped my run. I can’t believe that tomorrow is already Friday. I’ll be spending the morning, snapping some shots of Piper in her swanky new threads.

I cannot WAIT to see Piper do her fashion show! I’ve been waiting all week since Reagan mentioned it.
If it makes you feel any better my runs have been ridiculously horrible lately. And I want to run the Columbus 1/2 in October. Here’s hoping I can get et togetha!
TGIF!
Glad you are on the mend.
The jars are funny. I remembered that Frontier Pies used to serve their drinks in canning jars too.
You have a gift for photography. The energy and beauty of the city as well as your love for it, show in each photograph.
