This week was another one full of bad weather and blisters. Ah, excuses. I only ran today (because it was a race), and Monday. Grade=D. The only reason that I didn’t earn an F, was because of my 5k split time in the the race this morning. Any 5k under 20 mins makes me feel pretty good. I am really really hoping that my blister situation is under control, by next weekend. 13 miles is a little bit harder to tough-it through with a painful situation going on in the shoes.

Have you tried different socks for you blisters? My friend swears by the socks that are 2 layers. I like the Injinji Mini-crew Tetrasok as long as them being toe socks don’t bother you.
Hey Liz. Yeah, I have some double layered socks that work pretty well. The problem is that I only have 2 pairs. I think that the biggest issue is that I didn’t break in my new sneaks slow enough. So my feet have ended up in a bad cycle with no good callouses. I think that I need to just tough it out a bit, and hopefully I will be back on track. Thanks for the suggestions on socks!
Good job on your time!
