I spent Tuesday morning at the SoHo Burton showroom, getting the lowdown on their gear for the 2011 line. I can’t wait to spill the beans over on SoJones.
Burton is also throwing a Cinco de Mayo party Wednesday night. I really wish that I could attend. I have been to a few of their other parties, and they totally rock.
But, I’m even more excited about the reason that is preventing me from stopping by the party. My youngest sister Melinda will be landing tomorrow night. She and her sister-in-law will be staying with Reagan and I through the weekend. It will be Melinda’s first time meeting Piper. Get amped.

That looks like some fun. I love how the setups are broken down on the table. Wonder if their plans will change now that Jake is back at the helm.
@xaque: Totally. It was super cool to hear the whole design/production process. They have a 3d printer that makes the bindings out of fused nylon powder, from a CAD file. They have come a long way from plastic injection molds. From the outerwear stuff that I saw, it seems like Jake’s influence is already coming through in some of their throwback get-ups.
