After a super rainy day yesterday, the sun came out bright and early, this morning. It made for a very breathtaking drive, on the way to and from visiting Piper, because the leaves are now in full colors. Piper’s cousins were very excited to see her. When we first arrived, it seemed like Piper wasn’t feeling very well. She had just woken up, and seemed really groggy and sniffly. The nurse was getting her cleaned up as we came in. As soon as Piper saw her cousins, she perked right up and went straight into play mode. It was a really fun time watching Piper play with her little cousins. We were sad that they couldn’t stay longer, but we had a really fun weekend with them, rain, and all.
