Piper’s photo shoot

The real news from this weekend (for us) is about Piper. One of our talented photographer friends came up to Blythedale with us on Saturday morning to take some family photos. Piper was on trache collar the whole time that we were there. We even took it off for a couple of shots. We can tell that she isn’t quite used to doing all of the work by herself. By the time that we finished taking pictures, she was all tuckered out, and went right to sleep. But it really is amazing to see how well she does, with staying nice and pink, under her own breathing power. I am so proud of her progress, I can’t really even articulate it.

Reagan, told me that I’m not allowed to post any of the pictures that Seth took, yet. Girls are so annoying sometimes. Hahaha. But here is a picture of her sacked out afterwards. As a part of the deal on Saturday, our friends the Carters were also able to come up and meet Piper. We had a really great morning together. We are still pretty blown away by the whole trache collar, phenomenon.
