Today is a pretty big day, for Piper. Actually, I suppose that it is a pretty big day for us, regarding Piper. I’m not going to go into all of the gritty detail, and I will try very hard not to get ahead of myself. I will tell you the vague details that I have so far. Reagan went to visit Piper today, like she always does on Friday. When she got there, Piper was on trache collar. Apparently, she had already successfully been on trache collar for 2 hours straight, earlier this week. I know! Can you freaking believe it?! [that was a rhetorical question, because I already know that you can’t] So they were trying her on it for 4 hours today. I guess that they decided not to go the full 4 hours, but still. I’m pretty blown aways. My mind is spinning, trying to process all of the possible ramifications. Never rule out ANYTHING, when it comes to Piper. That is the lesson that I need to learn, fast.
