Piper has been spoiled lately with all kinds of visits from cousins, aunts uncles and grandparents. Last weekend, Piper grandma Baker came to visit her. Apparently she had been saving up some tricks specifically for this occasion. It was the first time that we had ever seen Piper completely flip herself over onto her stomach. It almost seems like she would start to crawl, if she wasn’t all tangled in her tubes and stuff. It was so funny to watch her do it though. In fact Saturday, when we arrived at the hospital, Piper had already positioned herself on her belly and was just wiggling around, and goofing off. It was so funny. I have to admit though, when she is on your lap and tries to do it, it isn’t as funny. She is so strong now, that you really have to be on your toes, so that she doesn’t flip off right onto the floor. It was nice for grandma Baker to see her doing so well, since the last time she was able to visit, Piper wasn’t doing so hot.
We still haven’t heard any updates on where or when Piper will be moving. We are kind of keeping our fingers crossed that it won’t happen for a long time, still.
