Trache collar is a no go.

After having such a blast with Piper yesterday, I had convinced myself that Piper was nearing superhero status, and would have no problem breathing without the vent today. Apparently that wasn’t the case. According to her nurse, she “lasted a whole half of a minute.” Oh well. We are still super proud of you Piper, I’m sure that you will be able to do it when you are ready.

On the upside, Piper’s nurse informed me that she was able to finagle a larger crib for piper. Nothing like an upgrade in digs. Coincidentally, I am also getting new digs today. I’m moving floors, back to the exact same office I was in when I started at this firm. Funny how things come full circle.
