I learn something new every day

Last night Reagan was telling me, from the other room, the titles of the new DVDs that came from Netflix. One of the titles she said was Style Wars. I asked her what is the world style wars was about? She told me it was about graffiti and break dancing, or something. I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t heard of a movie about graffiti and break dancing. It goes without saying that Style Wars was my vote for viewing last night. How on Earth had I never heard of this film? It is a 1982 documentary of the taggers and break dancers from the late 70’s and early 80’s. It has to be one of my top 5 favorites, ever. You can check out the full length film on Google Videos. If you have 70 minutes to kill and you are as big of a geek about this kind of stuff, as I am, make sure to check it out.

Anyway, Reagan is pretty much the coolest wife ever. She is browsing through Netflix, sees a moving about graffiti and break dancing, and orders it for me. This wife of mine changes my life on a daily basis. It was a pretty timely selection also. Reagan agreed, a couple of weeks ago, to let me do a large stencil on one of our bedroom walls. We are still trying to decide exactly what it will be. But she is going to help me with it. After watching this movie, I’m even more excited to break out the spray paint, again.
