Find a penny…

I found a penny in the elevator lobby of my floor, just now, when I was on my way out for the night. So if I apply the old adage of “all the day you will have good luck,” this was pretty poor timing. I only have a little less than 3 hours of luck, spread across the least productive part of my day. I could have used a little luck earlier today. Maybe I could start a more modern version of the saying, that goes something like “for the next 24 hours you will have good luck.” That way, I will be covered if this type of thing happens in the future. I’m curious to see how this ” luck” thing pans out. If it goes well, maybe I can start bribing my co workers to plant pennies around the office for me to find. Man, I’m feeling luckier already. Normally my brain is shutting down by this time of day, instead it is brimming with ingenious ideas for increasing luck!
