So, maybe we jumped the gun, a bit

It was so fun having Piper back here this weekend. It looks like she may even be here a little longer, depending on how things play out with insurance authorization today. One thing that Reagan and I have discovered in the past couple of days, is that we were a bit hasty to talk about Piper coming home next month. This became especially apparent to me today as I had a long conversation with her doctor. Piper is making a lot of progress. She is even doing pretty well on the portable ventilator. But she is still a very fragile little person. One thing is for sure. There are going to be a lot of big decisions to make regarding Piper, in the next several weeks and months. Reagan and I are just hoping and praying that we can have all of the information that we need to make the right ones. It has been so nice to have so much support from our friends and family, who undoubtedly tire from all of the back and forth. But honestly the comfort that we have taken from everyone’s support has been invaluable. So, thanks again.
