As I mentioned in our super big announcement yesterday, there are about 5 million things that we have to do before Piper can come home. Well, we are trying not to waste any time getting it all done. For those of you who know Reagan, you know that she tends to be quite a free spirit. Free spirits tend to hate paperwork, red tape and just about anything else that involves interacting with some sort of official entity or has deadlines. So as you can imagine, It wasn’t Reagan’s idea of a good time to spend today, her day off, visiting a bureaucratic office to finish paperwork and answer questions. But, she did anyway! Not to mention the fact that she beat up a guy who was double parked, blocking in the car and dodged a fallen crane on the east side just to get there. The happy ending to all of this (assuming that she can sucessfully navigate from the UES to the GW bridge, and get gas on the way), is that she will be able to spend the rest of the day and overnight, in fact, with Piper. She is trying to get a leg up on the training this weekend so that we don’t have to crunch it in so tight in the coming weeks. Piper, do you see how much your mom loves you?
