For the second race in the 2008 GP season, Jerez Spain will be the venue. Although Stoner has been impressive during practice (and tends to kick it up a notch in the actual race), this is Jorge Lorenzo’s home turf. This is his first season racing in the premier class, after taking the title in the 250 class, last year. He podiumed in his debut GP race in Qatar (second place). It will be very impressive if he can edge out Stoner tomorrow for the checkered flag. I’m currently taking reservations for spots on the couch, Sunday.
