Happy Vernal Equinox

Oh my goodness, I am getting so excited for the spring. I bought a new skate deck when I was in UT for Lacy’s wedding and I still haven’t had a chance to use it. I almost did one night about a month ago. I went to skate with the kids at the GW bus terminal, but the Port Authority cops pulled up right as I was getting there. So I just had to book it down Ft. Washington and circle back around to B-way to get home. Not much of a session. Anyway, last weekend one of my friends called me up to go hit the park, while I was visiting Piper. Obviously, I couldn’t go. I actually don’t even think that the park he wanted to skate, is even open yet. Anyway, I have the fevahhh! And I’m not talking about the Fever for more cowbell. I will keep my fingers crossed that it continues to warm up and that we actually have a bit of a spring season this year instead of straight from winter to 100 degrees.

Also, Reagan and I were watching dirty dancing last night for the 5000th time. Yes, I actually like it too. It started to grow on me around the 3500th time that I was watching it by default, as a byproduct of dating Reagan. Anyway, during the movie last night, I decided that it would be cool to have a Kellerman’s shirt. So I went online to Neighborhoodies and made one. I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty stoked about it. It looks pretty much exactly like the one that Johnny’s cousin wears in the movie. That’s all.

  1. I believe Johnny’s cousin’s name is Billy Kastecki.
