This morning I had to drop off the laundry on my way to the train. Not only was the laundromat super busy, but the lady who worked there was emptying the money out of all of the dryers, as I arrived. I was was a little annoyed that I had to wait so long for her to fill out a slip, so that I could be on my way, especially since I was already running a little bit late. Let me tell you though, it was worth it. I ended up getting a little bit later train than normal and as a result, was able to witness a girl fight between 175 and 168 streets (that was the location of the fight, not the parties involved in the fight). The term girl fight actually doesn’t really do it justice. It was two grown women in a fist fight, 10 feet from me right in the rush hour A train. Apparently one had shoved the other while boarding or something. I didn’t turn off my headphones in time to catch all of the details. Anyway, they start duking it out and 2 guys jump in to break it up. One of the women was really aggressive and started hitting the guy and threatening him too. Then there was a whole slew of indignant name calling and the crazy aggressive lady got off at 168. Never a dull moment on the MTA. I wish that I would have been carrying the mini cam that Reagan got me for valentines day. I was in a position to get some amazing footage. Maybe next time.
